WHAT MAKES TEGS™ DIFFERENT FROM OTHER GRIP TAPE?

Grip or deck tape is abrasive, much like sandpaper. The abrasive grip and paper backing limit the comfort and durability of these products, making them less than ideal as grip enhancements. TEGS’ patented micro-replication technology is based on thousands of non-abrasive gripping fingers that create a comfortable, non-abrasive surface. Best of all, TEGS will hold under wet, dry or oily conditions.

HOW MUCH TEGS™ DO I NEED?

The amount of TEGS you’ll need for best performance will vary with individual situations and preferences. Ovals are a quick way to place grip where you need it while wraps are an ideal choice for sports equipment, tools and weapon grips. TEGS sheets can easily be cut to custom shapes and sizes with a pair of scissors.

DO I NEED TO PREPARE THE SURFACE PRIOR TO APPLYING TEGS? 

For best results, it’s always best to make sure the surface is clean and dry. For weapon grips, first remove any oil with an alcohol wipe to increase the bond of the adhesive.
